Construction contract has been awarded and is ongoing.

Comments:

6/21/2010: Engineering is complete. Working on the Advanced Funding Agreement with TxDOT to obtain the Regional Toll Revenue funds. Funds should be in place within 3 months. Should be ready to bid construction of 2 lane service road by late summer.

1/19/2011: Construction Contract has been awarded to LH Lacy. Contractor should be mobilizing very soon and project should be completed by Summer 2012.

1/26/2011: Notice to proceed was issued today. Contruction end date is Aug. 4, 2012.

4/30/2011: Several Box culverts have been installed. Clearing and grading is ongoing.

10/31/2011: Construction is ongoing. Continued work on bridge and road surface. Continued Right of Way clearing and fence installation.

1/23/2013: The sections from US 75 to SH 5 and from SH 121 west to just before the railroad are completed. The Railroad will be constructing the new crossing this spring to finalize the project.
